Obituary of Jennifer Ann Blackley

Jennifer Ann Blackley passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 47.

Born on February 19, 1979, in Lockport, New York, Jennifer was the daughter of Timothy (the late Stacey Kenyon) Blackley and Angela (Kevin) Artieri Crawshaw.

Jennifer was known for her strong personality, kind heart, and unwavering authenticity. A former correction officer, she carried a tough spirit and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. If you knew Jennifer, you knew she was unapologetically herself—and that is exactly how those who loved her will remember her.

Jennifer had a passion for gardening and took great pride in making sure her front yard always looked beautiful. She was an exceptional cook who loved preparing meals for family and friends, often finding more joy in feeding everyone else than eating herself. Her favorite way of showing love was caring for others, whether through a home-cooked meal or simply picking up something she knew someone needed. She never missed an opportunity to take care of the people she loved, especially her daughter. Whether it was calling to say, “I got this for you,” or planning a meal she couldn’t wait to make, Jennifer’s love was expressed through the many ways she cared for others. She also had a special love for all things Harley-Davidson.

Above all else, Jennifer was a devoted and loving mother. The bond she shared with her daughter, Savoy, was one of deep love, pride, and unwavering devotion. Her daughter will forever remember hearing the words, “You’re my daughter,” whenever Jennifer insisted on doing something special for her—whether it was making her favorite meal or bringing home something she thought she needed. Those simple words reflected the immeasurable love she carried for her daughter.

Jennifer is survived by her father, Timothy (the late Stacey) Blackley; her mother, Angela (Kevin) Artieri Crawshaw; her loving daughter, Savoy Blackley; her sister, Megan Blackley; and her dear friend, Jim, along with many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A service celebrating Jennifer’s life will be held on Monday, August 10th at 11:00 AM at the Artieri family burial site at Cold Springs Cemetery.
