Obituary of Louis Converso
Please share a memory of Louis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Louis J. Converso Jr. passed away Saturday June 22, 2013. Born in Lockport, on February 6, 1958, he was the beloved son of Louise (nee Messenger) Joseph, of Lockport and the late Louis J. Converso. A graduate of Barker Central School, Louie owned and operated Sheriff's TV in Lockport for many years; most recently, he was a cook at the Wilson Hub, Wilson, NY. Louie was a very talented electrician, who would take your watch apart when you weren't looking, just to see how it ran. He also enjoyed spending time with his rabbit JoJo, who predeceased him by one week. His other hobbies included buying and selling antiques, collecting recipes and cooking, especially holiday desserts for his family. He will long be remembered as the famous host of Thanksgiving Dinner. It's been said by many, "You haven't experienced Thanksgiving until you've been to Louie's for Dinner."
Beside his mother, Louie was the the adored brother of Cynthia Converso of Lockport, LuAnn Brown of Gasport, Kim (James Boyle) Camarra of Middleport, Daniel (Magali) Converso of Medina and Toni Ann Converso of Lockport. He is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews.
