Obituary of John Dussault

John Dussault passed away December 24, 2008 in Grace Manor Healthcare Facility. Born January 31, 1924 in Lockport he was the son of the late Henri and Ivonne (Bouthiellier) Dussault. John graduated from Lockport Senior High School class of 1942 and worked as a court attendant for the Niagara County Court House. He also worked briefly for Detmer Gear as a factory worker and was the bookkeeper for the Lockport Sheridan Inn. John enjoyed spending time with his family, bird watching and the outdoors. He was a member of the UAW in the 1950's and was a Novice in order of St. Benedicts before he married his wife Catherine (Cain) Dussault in 1957 who passed away October of 2003. John is survived by his children Owen (Melissa) Dussault of Buffalo, Paul Dussault of Waldorff, MD and Rose Boorady of Rochester; grandfather of Elizabeth Dussault, Austin Boorady, Henri Dussault and Cathlynn Dussault; brother of Denise Milby of Lockport. Relatives and friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.
