Obituary of Mary E. Bennett
Mary E. Bennett passed away on January 24, 2020. She was born on May 31, 1924 in Lockport, NY, a daughter of William and Myrtle (Lederhaus) Bil. Mary was a lifelong member of Lockport United Church of Christ and the Kings Daughters.
Mary enjoyed cooking, baking and playing cards. She was a volunteer for over 40 years with Lockport Meals on Wheels.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Bennett; daughter, Deborah Bennett; and brother, James Bil. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Karen) Bennett, Carol (Daniel) Langdon; brothers, Roger (Helen) Bil, Robert (late Eleanor) Bil; grandchildren, Richard, Daniel (Kara), Christopher (Sherry), Jason (Kylee) Bennett, Kevin and Keith Langdon; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Jackson, Wyatt, Braydan, Emalee.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, NY, from 10-12 PM where a funeral service, officiated by Rev. John Hall, will immediately follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
