Obituary of Maria J. Perry

Maria Perry passed away July 7, 2021 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born November 12, 1941 in Lockport she was the daughter of Stephen and Stella (Muscolo) Cuzzacrea.  Maria was a seamstress working out of her house and taught painting classes as well.  She was a member of the Genesee Decorative Painters, volunteering, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by her husband, Lowell Perry, Jr.; daughters Denise (Daniel) Salmons, Christine (Philip) Gow, and Melissa (David) Wendt; grandchildren Sarah, Andrew, and Erin Gow; Ashleigh (Kyle) Hughey, Jacob (Lauren) and Conor Kwoka; dear cousin Julie (John) Weick; niece Elizabeth (Adam) Bienas, nephews Daniel (Laura) Cuzzacrea and late Samuel Cuzzacrea, Jr., Joanne (Robert) Kohnen, Stephanie (Steven Bradshaw) Cuzzacrea and Judy (Lawrence) Wagner and sister-in-law Frances Cuzzacrea.   She was also predeceased by her brothers Stephen  Cuzzacrea III and Samuel Cuzzacrea, Sr.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, July 11th from 2-6 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 12th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
