Young, Kathleen R. was called home December 18, 2022. She was extremely devoted to her family and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed listening to music, dancing, laughing and cooking. Often referred to as the life of the party, she was a legend who will be missed dearly. Daughter of the late Benjamin and Kathleen (Scrace) Sweeney, Sr. and wife of the late James Young (2012). She is survived by her beloved daughter Kathleen (Christopher) Burk; proud Nana of Emily (Brandon) Cody and Evan Burk; siblings Patricia (late James) Dee, late Benjamin (Sheila) Sweeney, Jr., Francis Sweeney, Mary Jane (Donald) Pritchard, James Sweeney, late Margaret Sweeney, late Patrick Sweeney, and late John (Pamela) Sweeney; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
