It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to a remarkable man who I just learned passed away. Not only was Butch a close family friend, but he also led my Boy Scout troop - where he instilled the values of integrity, service, and community in a younger generation. Butch was a generous and giving man who was truly dedicated to his wife Joan, standing by her side throughout their long life together.
He also treated everyone around him with uplifting kindness, respect, and dignity.
My deepest condolences are with his children, grandchildren, and companion Linda during their grieving and remembrance of an incredible man.
Rest in peace, my friend! You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

Leo was not just a lineman, he was a Chief lineman, Took care of all that worked for him. Highly respected by EVERYONE that worked for or with him. And as a friend, gentleman and a great Local 966 IBEW member, He was without a doubt, one of the most decent men you would ever want to know. God bless and rest you me friend.

We are so sorry to learn of the passing of our cherished friend Butch. He added so many happy memories to our Florida winter stays. We will always remember with fondness and a warm smile the joy he brought to Nadir Rd. God bless him and keep him safe now as he watches over us all in Heaven. We will meet again one day, my friend.
