Obituary of Mary DeFilippo

Mary Angela DeFilippo passed away June 4, 2012 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born December 21, 1922 in Lockport she was the daughter of Nicholas and Lena (Ruberto) DeFilippo. She worked in production for 42 years at Harrison Radiator and also at the gift shop in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Mary was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church where she was very active and was the recipient of the Lay Award of St. Joseph, was an avid bowler and a member of the Travel Club traveling to thirteen different countries.
Mary is survived by her sisters Ellen Anterline and Frances Florio both of Lockport; predeceased by her brothers and sister Dominick DeFilippo, Angelo DeFilippo, Nicholas DeFilippo, Jr., John DeFilippo, Loren DeFilippo, and Virginia Rising. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass to be celebrated Saturday, June 9th at 11:30 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass to be celebrated Saturday, June 9th at 11:30 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
<h3>Interment</h3>
Inurnment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
